Enable Chat Completions in OpenClaw

Send this to your OpenClaw bot:

I'm setting up Hiora – a desktop voice companion that connects to OpenClaw via chat completions. Check my OpenClaw config (~/.openclaw/openclaw.json or .yaml or .json5) and make sure gateway.http.endpoints.chatCompletions.enabled is true. If not, enable it and run "openclaw gateway restart". Let me know when done.

Find your Gateway URL, Token & Session Key

Send this to your OpenClaw bot:

I'm setting up Hiora – a desktop voice companion app that connects to OpenClaw via the chat completions API. I need my connection details. Please:

1. Read my OpenClaw config (~/.openclaw/openclaw.json or .yaml or .json5) and give me the Gateway URL (use http:// not ws://) and the gateway.auth.token value.
2. Run "openclaw sessions list" and give me the main session key.

Return all 3 values (Gateway URL, Token, Session Key) so I can paste them into Hiora.

Download Hiora & connect

Install Hiora, click the ⚙️ gear icon, and fill in:

  • •Avatar ID – from your Avatarium dashboard
  • •Gateway URL – your OpenClaw address (e.g. http://your-ip:18789)
  • •Token – your gateway auth token
  • •Session Key – from step 3 (default: agent:main:main)

Hit Save, and you're live. Speak, and your AI speaks back – with a face that matches every word. 🎉
